Thomas Ashworth is a criminal defense attorney practicing in North Texas. Mr. Ashworth spent 11 years as an Assistant District Attorney, rising to the rank of Chief Felony Prosecutor before entering private practice. During that time, he tried over 100 misdemeanor and felony jury trials including DWI, drug possession, sexual assault, and capital murder. Mr. Ashworth has also been an invited speaker throughout Texas on topics such as Forensic Evidence, Firearms, and Trial Advocacy, and spent three years serving on the Licensing Advisory Committee for the Texas Forensic Science Commission. Mr. Ashworth graduated from the University of Texas at Austin and went on to receive his Juris Doctorate from The Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law.
