Lewis and Ashworth actually got the judge to reverse his own ruling!
I was arrested for two first degree felonies, Money Laundering, $200K and Misapplication of Fiduciary Property, $200K, which was absolutely untrue. What was really going on was my old boss at the state agency for whom I had previously worked was out to get me. Lewis and Ashworth reviewed my records and the state’s discovery and came up with a plan. They continued to press the state for the discovery that they knew was missing (from my records and holes they noticed in the discovery that the state had provided), and then filed various motions to dismiss and motions to quash. Using the state’s discovery, Lewis and Ashworth actually got the judge to reverse his own ruling that the state investigators would not testify. Lewis and Ashworth then used the testimony of the state investigators, along with the discovery and their arguments, to get a DISMISSAL of all charges. The attorneys at Lewis and Ashworth did an excellent job of explaining the steps of the process and their strategy to me. They were very thorough and professional and their fees are very reasonable. Being charged with a criminal offense is a nightmarish experience. It puts your life at stake in so many ways. Until your case is resolved, everything is so uncertain.
